Saturday Image Bonus 136

This week's images are from a book called In Storyland.  The inscription in the book is from Christmas 1900.    The book is filled with great black and white line drawings and about a dozen beautiful colored plates.  The pictures are illustrated by several artists.  I have included six of the colored plates here and one of the black and white drawings made into a digital stamp for those of you who use digital stamps.  I will try to post a few more of the digital stamps later this weekend at Digital Two for Tuesday.  As always feel free to use any of the images on my website in your artwork but please do not post or sell the original image on the web in a group or collection. If you use one in a project and post it to your site please link it back to here or leave a comment in the comments section of the image on this site so we can all enjoy. I love to see what you create. Please be sure to leave a comment if you stop by. It inspires me to post more.

Saturday Image Bonus 135

So today I have for you a group of images I put together for a photopolymer stamp set I was going to make called By the Sea for Clearly Vintage Stamps.  I decided the images were too detailed and abandoned the project.  I still love all these images from turn of the century advertising trade cards and decided to share them with you.  I have made them all black and white to get ready for the stamp making process.  Enjoy!  As always feel free to use any of the images on my website in your artwork but please do not post or sell the original image on the web in a group or collection. If you use one in a project and post it to your site please link it back to here or leave a comment in the comments section of the image on this site so we can all enjoy. Full Bloom

So I have scanned about half the book.  I'm not sure if I will have time to scan more before the weekend but check back.  Paulette from Create with TLC answered my request and made a few digistamps out of these images.  Check out her blog to see them.

Flower Power!!

Well we aren't even half way through the book.  Each one of these illustrations is more fun than the next.  A few of you have requested digital images for stamping made out of these drawings but I am not sure I know how to do that.  So if anyone here has that skill please let me know.

Saturday Image Bonus 134

For the next few days I will be posting images from a book that I found at the flea market called Flower Children by Elizabeth Gordon and illustrations by MT Ross .  The book is from 1910.  There are dozens of adorable images of flower children.  I can't wait to make a stationary set using these images.  Enjoy!
