New Glamour Girls Stamp Set

This is the full set of Glamour Girls stamps. This is a 4x6 inch clear stamp sheet. There are quite a few images for the size of the sheet. I used a few bits of some of the images for accents in previous samples. Like the umbrellas on the sample with the girl on deck from the Modern Women set is the umbrella from the Glamour Girl with the umbrella. The price will be $14.00. Remember, I am taking preorders next week so if you are interested in any of the sets let me know so I can send you preorder details. Please contact me at coraharkins@sbcglobal.net.

More Glamour Girls

Here is a card and a tag I made this morning using the Glamour Girls set. All of my samples are fairly simple so that you can see the images. Please click on the card as it seems to be blurry in the smaller version. I hope you are enjoying all these sneak peeks. I will post more projects as I finish them. Remember, I will be taking preorders for these on Monday. Please send me an email at coraharkins@sbcglobal.net if you would like me to send you an email with the details.

The Glamour Girls - Mobile

Here is another sneak peek. I used the stamps from my second new stamp set Glamour Girls to make this mobile. There are nine different fabulous girls from the 1920's in this 4x6 inch set. My dad made me this great goldfish mobile when I was a little girl. I used it to plan the wirework.

Saturday Image Bonus 71

Here are the last photos from the album from Rhode Island. What a beautiful album of photos! I hope you enjoyed all of them. Now I will have to think of what to post next week. Sneak Preview #3

So here are two more cards with images from the Modern Woman set. I love the details in these stamps. It is so amazing that these are clear stamps. I have also used parts of the stamps to add detail to the card. I will show you the whole set tomorrow.

Sneak Preview #2

So here are few more stamps from my new stamp sets. The main images are from the Modern Woman set. All of the images in this set are doing some sort of activity except for the side view of the woman in her underwear. Both of these tags have embossed Cuttlebug backgrounds and are colored with Copic markers. Check back later for a few more peeks.

Drum Roll Please, New Stamps Preview

So I received the proof sets from my manufacturer and the stamps look wonderful. There are going to be four new sets in various sizes. Here is the first sneak peek. Both of these ATC's use Clearly Vintage stamps exclusively. I have used bits and pieces from several of the new sets. I love the freedom that the clear stamps give you to do this technique. It makes your stamps have infinite possibilities. The main images are from the new Clearly Vintage stamp set Modern Women. Check back frequently. I will be posting more sneaks today and tomorrow.

Gesso Technique

At Saturday's Workout the challenge this week is to try the gesso technique described at Hermine's Blog. I tried this technique but I think my photo was a little dark for this one. Here is my card. The stamps are Fancy Pants.

Saturday Image Bonus 68

So today I have five more images from the Rhode Island family album. I wish I had a family name but so far none of the pictures have been marked. All of these are tintypes dated about 1870. They do not have the tax stamp on the back which was done during the Civil War. So I am guessing they are from right after the war.

Saturday Image Bonus 67

So here are more photos from last week's album. It is rare that I get an album with so many great photos. I wonder how they are related or if they are related? Usually one or two are marked but not in this book. Each photo has great details. I love the hats, the puff sleeves and the hair doos. They definitely are in their finest clothes. Please stop back next week to see more photos of this family from Rhode Island, USA.
