Saturday Bonus Image 82

So this week it is Lynne's turn. She has requested more Harper's Bazaar images. So here they are. These are from 1932 so they are a little less deco but you can still see the influences. As always please feel free to copy these images for your own personal use and artwork. Please do not sell the images as part of a collage sheet or digital download. If you use one of the images please post it in the comments section of this post so that we can all enjoy your artwork.

Sheila's Beautiful Bling Card

Here is an elegantly beautiful card made by Sheila at Manic Stamper. She printed the image on a linen effect cardstock and hand printed the letters.

She used one of the SIB from a few weeks ago. I just love these Harper's Bazar images. Please check out her blog for more details about the card and her other incredible projects. I am so glad you shared this wonderful card with us Sheila.

So we are up to 81 SAB posts and that doesn't include all the Christmas image posts from last December( they have been removed until next year). Royal requested in my SAB 75 contest that I post more travel ads so here are some great ones I found in a few 1930's Harper's Bazar. As always please feel free to copy these images for your own personal use and artwork. Please do not sell the images as part of a collage sheet or digital download. If you use one of the images please post it in the comments section of this post so that we can all enjoy your artwork.

Flapper Girl Card

I made this card to give to someone as a birthday card but I like it so much I may keep it to hang up at work. Unfortunately, the photo washes it out a bit. The rhinestone focal point looks grey.
This card worked great for the Glamour Girls challenge at Theme Thursday.

The image is from the Saturday Image Bonus a few weeks ago. The background stamp is by Rubber Cottage and the You've come a long way baby stamp is from my stamp company Clearly Vintage. It is in the Glamour Girls set.

Flea Market Finds

So today was the first day of the weekly flea market in my area. It is an amazing market with hundreds of booths with over 50% of the items being antiques. I found so many great things to share with you. I bought 8 magazines from the late 1890's filled with great advertising, a McCall's from the 1950's, 30 postcards of old cars from the 1950's, 6 children's books from the early 1900's, 40 cabinet card photos, 41 holiday postcards and a badly torn book of costumes from Hamburg dated 1858 all for about 100 dollars. So I have lots of scanning and repairing to do. I usually don't spend so much but I got a little carried away for the first day of the season. I can't wait to share all of them with you. Hopefully, I will be able to scan the Easter postcards and post them a little early so you can use them for the holiday. Whether you are celebrating Easter or Passover this week, I wish everyone a happy holiday.

Sarah's Accordian Book

One of the winners of my blog candy a few weeks ago Sarah made this amazing accordian book using my new stamp set Glamour Girl's. I love her color combination and the little accents she added to each stamped image. For more details on this project check out Sarah's blog Vintage Figment's. Thank you Sarah for letting me share this beautiful project with the group.

Saturday Image Bonus 79

So we are up to Sally Hackney and her request for vintage advertising and farm life images. All of these images are from different seed catalogues from 1886- 1924. The details in the drawings are amazing. These are all bound catalogues so some of the images did not scan as straight as I would have liked them. Remember. I am using your requests from the blog candy post so please check back to see your request. I hope some of you will make some projects this week with these wonderful images. If you do I would love to a photo of you artwork and a link to your blog to this post. So be sure to let me know. As always feel free to use any of these images in your artwork. Please do not sell any of these images or use them in a collage sheet of images for sale. If you use one in your artwork and post it on your blog or website please be sure to link it back to this site.
