ReplyDeleteCaroline Goodwin O'Day was my great-grandmother. Thank you so much for finding these! My cousin in New York has several paintings of hers and I have a children's book she illustrated but these images are the first I have seen of the work that likely kept her going before she married. Is there any way you know by which I can obtain a copy of the drawings from Harpers or any other source?
ReplyDeleteI have several of these magazines which I will be selling on eBay.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know! What month/year are these in?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure. I have a bunch with her illustrations.
