Here are a few victorian trade cards from Prudential Insurance.  I copied one of the backs so you could see the ad.  Claims of more then $1,000,000 dollars in 1888,  It just goes to show you how much inflation is this last century.  I imagine that number is closer to $1 Billion now.  As always feel free to use any of the images on my website in your artwork but please do not post or sell the original image on the web in a group or collection or alone.
