Some old photos and tintypes I had in my stash. The men in these pictures are a mystery. I like to think they are good men who lived a full life. I often wonder what happened to their families that these photos were no longer wanted.
I also love old photographs. I was lucky to have a grandfather who worked at Kodak and who was an avid amateur photographer. I have hundreds of old pictures of my father when he was young, my grandmother and their friends. I love your blog!
Oohh amazing, a photograph of a coloured man. Love it! It has a name written underneath, but I can't read it, could you tell me the name please? I know it must be his name, in those days people did that. My gran did, I didn't like it when she did it, but now I am grateful for all the names she gave on those old pics. She is not around anymore to tell me the names and relations she had with those people. I loved the stories she told me. Thank you for these photographs, I'll keep them safe on my computer.

Fantastic photos! Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but the last one of the 2 gentlemen on the bench is really awesome - they look so much more relaxed and happy! Thanks, Cora.
