The images I am posting today are from a large sized french children's book from the 1920's called Pierrette. The artist is Zou Zou? I can't read the writing. I have included part of the cover but I can not fit even half the book in the scanner. Anyway the pictures are adorable. I love the clothing and the hairstyles.
These are gorgeous images.
ReplyDeletei love the freshness of these charmers, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThese are sweet images. The girl's writing on the blackboard "je suis une" translates "I am a ..." (sorry I don't know what she intended to say as there are only a couple of letters following the word belle)
ReplyDelete"Belle" can mean pretty, beautiful, good, great, nice and many other things depending on what it is describing. Hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteSweet images, thank you! I think the artist has written his/her name and numbers to mark the images.
