Saturday Image Bonus 195

I got a new scanner this week and my beloved old software program will not work with it.  I am trying to find the right new software for scanning and repairing images.  I also want to use it to make my digital stamps.  If any of you have any suggestions on software to use on a MAC that doesn't cost too much I would appreciate it.  In the meantime, please bear with me.  I am not able to repair these images much as I like.  Below are Christmas postcards from the early 1900's.

  1. So pretty! I love the last one with the houses and the sunset...or sunrise...not really sure. They are all so festive and colourful.

  6. Oh, isn't that disappointing when you think you're upgrading and then the software you've come to rely on doesn't work.I use a Canon scanner and Photoshop...but Photoshop isn't cheap. Sometimes I just use Preview to crop, but you can't fix scrapes and ink marks. Sorry I'm not more help.
