Some More Photos of the Epstein's

Sam and Bess Epstein

Sylvia Epstein

Sylvia Epstein

Sylvia Epstein
I have posted a few more of the vintage photos from 1910 -1914 I got at the flea market last week.  They really are a treasure.  I love this series showing Sylvia's parents who were very handsome and then Sylvia as she gets older.  It makes me sad to think a family has lost this history so I have adopted them.  Most of these photos and photo postcards were sent to an aunt Annie.  Perhaps it went to a family member of Annie's when she died and by this generation no one knew who the Epstein's were.

Great photos. It is sad there is no one to claim their heritage.
The bottom photo is too cute! Love the outfit and the expression on her little face!
Thanks for sharing! :)

I too feel sad that part of this family's history has been lost. They are very beautiful!

What a beautiful family - the parents are lovely and Sylvie is adorable. Its almost as if they are orphaned -- but you adopted them and I'm sure they are quite happy in their new home.

How sweet of you to adopt them. They are such a lovely family! It's so sad that some family has lost track of their ancestors. I feel like that too when I go to Cracker Barrel (a Southern restaurant chain) and see their framed Vintage pictures hanging on the wall.

Thank you for adopting them. I have done genealogy for almost 30 years. I am constantly searching the internet for photos of my family. These are precious! It makes me wonder how families lose track of their heritage? I know many today don't care. I feel every photo is a "treasure" from the past. Thanks for sharing.:)

Wow. Great photos. I wonder if you could find descendants of this family on Ancestry.com; Since you have quite a few names and dates, there maybe relatives who have also made a family tree with this branch.
