Today I have five pages from a 1940 McCall's pattern booklet. I just love the styles of this period. The padded shoulders, hats, gloves, plaids, stripes and polka dots are all signatures of this time.

Is it just me or do the little girl's dresses look way too short. I thought those kid dress lengths appeared in the 60's alongside the miniskirt revolution.
