Saturday Image Bonus 189

I hope you are enjoying these images from The Woman's Institute Home Sewing Tips Booklet.  One of the most interesting things about this booklet is the use of Post It like squares.  This booklet is from 1925.  The squares are similar in color to Post Its and the adhesive is on one edge.  I am not sure if it is removable.  I am afraid to damage the booklet.

Pages From A 1920's Sewing Booklet

All three of these images are from the 1920's Woman's Institute Home Sewing Tips booklet.  The images in this booklet are so lovely.  I love the detailed drawings and of course the twenties fashions.  I am really enjoying posting these.  Their are more images from this booklet posted on Digital Two for Tuesday.

Saturday Image Bonus 155 - 1942 Fashions

In my survey a few weeks ago several of you said you wanted to see more vintage fashions. This week we have several pages from a 1942 pattern catalogue by Marian Martin.  After scanning from my catalogue I did a little research about this catalogue and found another website with lots of scanned images from other Marian Martin Pattern books.  Be sure to poke around this page as on the bottom of the page they have 200 scanned pages from other Marian Martin books.  Also be sure to check back on Sunday for a few more images from my catalogue.

As always feel free to use any of the images on my website in your artwork but please do not post or sell the original image on the web in a group or collection or alone. If you use one in a project and post it to your site please link it back to here or leave a comment in the comments section of the image on this site so we can all enjoy. Today I am continuing to post your requests.  Lots of you asked for sewing related images.  Here are a bunch from two sewing instructional pamplets from 1920 from the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts & Sciences.
