Now that summer is here I thought a few baseball images for the guys would be appropriate.  These are all from old cigarette cards I have picked up at the flea market.   I am not sure of the age of these images but they look about 100 years old.  I know my husband, the baseball fan, would love a card made from one of these images.

I do not usually post images from another site but I had to share this with all you baseball fans.  All of these cards are from a great site I found at the Library of Congress for vintage baseball cards.  It could be so much fun to make a card or collage of some of these images. You can pick your favorite team, city or player and highlight them in a design.  At Digital Two for Tuesday I attempted to make one of them into a digital stamp image.

Up in Smoke

Thank you to all of you for stopping by my daughter's blog Learning from Our Past.  You really made her day.

These are all tobacco cards.  I love the baseball one and the info on how to play the game.
