Saturday Image Bonus 169

A few more from the 1927 Fashion Service magazine.  What a great era this was for style.  I think since the 1960's styles have gotten so bland.  It is often hard to tell what era it is in a movie.  Perhaps the jeans got wider or lower, hair bigger or higher.  Collars changed a bit but nothing like in the 1930's.  The fabrics, the hats, the cut of the garments are so distinct in the 30's.

Be sure to stop by my other blog I have been posting digital stamps from this same magazine all week.
As always feel free to use any of the images on my website in your artwork but please do not post or sell the original image on the web in a group or collection or alone. If you use one in a project and post it to your site please link it back to here or leave a comment in the comments section of the image on this site so we can all enjoy. I love to see what you create. Please be sure to leave a comment if you stop by. It inspires me to post more.

Fabulous images yet again - thanks so much Cora.

Fantastic images, Cora! I must agree with your observation of fashion since the 1960's. It seems as though nothing new or stylish has really come about. Mostly the designers are copying past eras.

I love these wonderful images. Fashion is much more casual today, but I love seeing the ladies in the sleek dresses and the great hats!
